Purchase / Upgrade / Extend / Cancel Subscription

Learn how to subscribe your active devices to paid plans, scale up modem limits, manually extend billing cycles, cancel automatic renewals, or terminate subscriptions for an instant, pro-rated balance refund.

XProxy Software License Tiers

XProxy licenses are priced independently from your physical hardware. Every server, Box, or DIY controller begins on a lifetime Free Plan. You can purchase a subscription tier based on the features you require:

  • Free Plan (Testing): Lifetime plan bundled with all XProxy installations. Supports up to 5 active modems, auto-generated HTTP/SOCKS5 proxies, and basic rotating API.
  • Basic Plan (Personal Use): Adds dual-stack IPv6 support, SOCKS5 UDP (QUIC/HTTP3) proxy streams, local OpenVPN/WireGuard servers, and Telegram chat support.
  • Premium Plan (Power Users): Adds advanced anti-detection security tools (TCP/OS Fingerprint spoofing, WebRTC leakage prevention, DNS Faker) and the dashboard AI Troubleshooting Assistant.
  • Business Plan (Commercial Reselling): Adds custom proxy authentication methods, rotation pool groups, Shared Ports (allowing dozens of separate proxy ports to be exposed per modem), and the fully integrated client proxy selling platform dashboard.
Feature Tier vs. Modem Scale: License feature plans (Basic, Premium, Business) and modem capacities (10 to 150 modems) are selected completely independently. For example, you can buy a Basic Plan scaled to 80 modems, or a Business Plan running only 10 modems, based on your technical needs.

How to Purchase a New Subscription

To move your device off the Free Plan and register a new paid license subscription:

  1. Log into your XProxy Cloud Console and navigate to My Devices.
  2. Click the Purchase Plan button on the target device card.
  3. In the slide-over panel, select your subscription settings:
    • Package: Choose Basic, Premium, or Business.
    • Capacity: Select the maximum number of modems that can run concurrently on the server (presets for 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 80, 150 modems).
    • Billing Cycle: Choose 3 Months, Annual (saves ~20% compared to monthly), or Lifetime (one-time fee).
    • Renewal Option: Set to Auto-renew (automatic deduction from balance) or Manual.
  4. Verify the final price in the invoice summary and click Add Now (or Confirm). The purchase total is instantly deducted from your Account Balance.

How to Upgrade Your Active Subscription

Upgrades are fully pro-rated — you never lose money. The system automatically calculates the unused value of your active subscription and applies it as a direct credit discount towards your upgrade request.

To perform an upgrade, open the device action menu (three-dots icon on the card) and select Upgrade. Choose one of three available upgrade pathways:

  1. Upgrade Plan (Move Tiers): Move to a higher plan tier (e.g., Basic → Premium). Your active modem count and expiration date stay exactly the same. You pay only the pro-rated price difference for the remaining days of your cycle.
  2. Upgrade Items (Scale Modems): Increase the allowed number of modems on your active plan (e.g., scale from 10 modems to 40 modems). The plan tier and expiration date remain the same.
  3. Upgrade All (Full Reset): Adjust your plan tier, modem capacity, and billing cycle simultaneously. The system ends your current subscription, calculates its remaining credit value, applies it to the order, and starts a fresh billing cycle from the upgrade date.
Zero Reconfiguration: All license upgrades and adjustments synchronize instantly over-the-air from our cloud servers. Your device's existing License Key remains unchanged; you do not need to modify any settings on your physical Box or local server.

Pro-Rated Calculation Formula: As demonstrated in the upgrade panel, the upgrade cost is calculated as:
Upgrade Cost = (New Plan Full Price - Current Plan Price) × (Remaining Days ÷ Total Cycle Days)

How to Manage Renewal (Auto vs. Manual)

XProxy provides flexible choices for license renewals to ensure your proxy network remains online without unexpected downtime:

  • Auto-Renew (Default): The licensing system automatically validates your Account Balance 1 day before expiration. If sufficient funds exist, the plan price is deducted and the license is extended. If funds are insufficient, a warning is sent to your account email.
  • Manual Renew: Auto-billing is disabled. Your subscription will expire at the end of the billing period, dropping back to the Free Plan. You must extend the license manually.
Auto-Renew Timing: Because auto-renewal attempts occur precisely 24 hours before expiration, please make sure your Account Balance has enough funds in advance to avoid any temporary drop back to the Free Plan.

To switch between Auto-Renew and Manual Renew, or to view the specific logs of a single device:

  1. Go to the My Devices panel.
  2. Click on the device card to open the Device Details page.
  3. Locate the Subscription card in the center of the details layout.
  4. Under Auto Renew, click the Enable (or Disable) button to toggle automatic balance deductions.
  5. Scroll to the bottom of the details page to review the License & Subscription History table for a historical record of all plan actions on this device.

How to Extend Your Subscription Manually

If you prefer manual renewals or want to secure long-term discounts in advance:

  1. Click the Extend button on your active device card (or select Extend from the card's action menu).
  2. Select your desired extension billing cycle (3 Months, Annual, or Lifetime).
  3. Confirm the renewal details. The new duration is appended to your current expiry date, ensuring you lose zero remaining days from your active cycle.

How to View Your Billing History (Orders & Invoices)

Every account action, including wallet deposits, license purchases, plan upgrades, manual extensions, and pro-rated refunds, is fully tracked. You can view your billing logs via two methods:

Path A — View Device-Specific History (Inside Device Details)

To inspect the historical timeline, dates, and amounts spent on one specific device:

  1. Go to the My Devices panel.
  2. Click on the target device card to open the Device Details page.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page to find the License & Subscription History table.
  4. This table documents every transaction action (e.g., subscribe, upgrade, extend, refund), the plans modified, key expiration shifts, and the exact payment amount for this device alone (see the Device Details screenshot above).

Path B — View Global Account Invoices (My Orders)

To view a consolidated ledger of all transactions across all devices, plus wallet deposits and coupons:

  1. In the left sidebar of the Console, navigate to the My Orders section.
  2. Review your central account ledger table containing:
    • Invoice #: Click the blue invoice ID link to view or print detailed bill receipts.
    • Type: Categorized as subscribe, extend, upgrade, refund, or deposit.
    • Amount: The total transaction cost charged to or credited back to your account.
    • Balance: Your updated wallet account balance immediately following the transaction.

How to Terminate a Subscription for a Pro-Rated Refund

If you no longer need a paid license, you can cancel it immediately for a refund credited directly to your account balance:

  1. Go to your device details page and select Cancel Subscription from the action options.
  2. The console will calculate and display the exact pro-rated refund value corresponding to the remaining unused days on your subscription.
  3. Click Confirm. The subscription terminates immediately, the device falls back to the Free Plan, and the pro-rated credit is added to your Account Balance instantly.
Refund Destination: Pro-rated refund credits are returned instantly to your XProxy Account Balance (Wallet). You can use this balance to register or extend any other device. To request a withdrawal from your wallet balance to external accounts, please contact billing support.
Refund Limitations: Pro-rated cancellations are not supported for Lifetime licenses. Downgrades (moving to a lower plan tier or reducing modem counts) are not processed automatically in the Console; if you need to downgrade, contact support for manual adjustments.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I cancel my active subscription and receive a refund?

Yes. You can cancel any active monthly or annual plan directly from the Device Details page. The system calculates your remaining unused duration and immediately credits a pro-rated refund to your XProxy Account Balance.

Is it possible to temporarily pause my subscription?

No, XProxy subscriptions cannot be temporarily paused. If you need to stop using a license for a short period, we recommend canceling the subscription to claim your pro-rated balance refund, then purchasing a new plan whenever you are ready to resume operations.

What happens if I upgrade an active 3-Month or Annual plan to Lifetime?

If you upgrade your plan to Lifetime, select the Upgrade All path. The system calculates the unused credit value from your active duration, applies it as a discount towards the one-time Lifetime fee, and converts your device to a Lifetime license immediately.

Can I downgrade my subscription tier or reduce my modem limits?

To protect your configuration and prevent service disruptions, automated downgrades are not supported in the Console. If you need to downgrade your tier or reduce modem capacity, please contact our support team on Telegram for manual adjustment and credit processing.

What happens if my balance is insufficient during auto-renewal?

If your account balance lacks enough funds 1 day prior to expiration, the auto-renewal attempt will fail and you will receive an email notification. The subscription will remain active until the exact expiration date, after which the device automatically reverts to the Free Plan (reducing your capacity to 5 active modems).

Can I transfer an active subscription to a different device?

Yes. In your device settings, you can use the Change Device action to migrate your active license key, plan tier, modem capacity, and remaining expiration days to another server/hardware package instantly.
