What is XProxy
XProxy is a powerful DIY mobile proxy creation and management platform. It turns simple hardware—like USB modems and Android phones—into your own high-speed, private, and rotating mobile proxy network, without requiring complex network setup.
What is DIY Mobile Proxy?
Normally, when you buy mobile proxies, you pay high monthly rental fees (often $80–$150/month per port) to providers who restrict your bandwidth and share networks. With XProxy, you adopt a DIY (Do It Yourself) model: you buy the hardware once, plug in your own mobile SIM cards, and completely own and control your proxy network.
| Feature | Renting Public Proxies | DIY with XProxy |
|---|---|---|
| Ownership | You rent from a third party. They control the IP. | You own the hardware and the SIM. 100% private. |
| Bandwidth | Limited or charged per GB (very expensive). | Unlimited. You only pay for your mobile SIM package. |
| IP Control | Shared with other users or limited rotation. | 100% dedicated to you. Rotate IP instantly via API or timer. |
| Cost in long-run | High recurring monthly fees ($100s or $1000s). | One-time hardware purchase + cheap mobile SIM plans. |
How does XProxy work?

XProxy acts as a smart gateway (backconnect server) that receives proxy traffic and routes it through separate physical mobile connections. The system uses 5 simple components:
- XProxy Box (XB22) or a 64-bit Ubuntu PC: The central server that runs the routing software.
- USB Dongles (Modems) or Android Phones: The physical exit nodes that connect to cellular towers.
- Powered USB Hub: Extends the USB ports to run 5, 10, or up to 40 modems simultaneously.
- Active SIM Cards: Provide mobile data and unique IP addresses from carriers (Viettel, Vinaphone, Verizon, etc.).
- Ethernet connection: Connects your XProxy Box to your local router (e.g. at IP
192.168.1.99) so it can receive local requests.
Standard Proxy Endpoints
XProxy generates RFC-compliant proxy endpoints that work out of the box with any software:
- Dual-Protocol: Every port supports both HTTP and SOCKS5 protocols simultaneously.
- Dual-Stack: Auto-generates both IPv4 and IPv6 proxy ports if supported by your SIM carrier.
- Instant Rotation: Change the exit IP at any time via a time interval (e.g. every 5 minutes), an API call, or a custom rotation link.
