Installing Mobile Phones & 5G Proxies (Legacy)
Connect Android phones to XProxy as rotating mobile proxy devices. Works with Android 4.4 and above — no root required for basic setup.
Step 1 — Turn off Screen Lock
The phone must stay unlocked while connected to XProxy. Go to Settings → Security → Screen Lock → None.

Step 2 — Enable Developer Mode and USB Debugging
Go to Settings → About phone → tap Build number 7 times to unlock Developer Options.

Then go to Developer options and enable USB debugging.

Step 3 — Connect the phone to XProxy
Use a data cable (not a charge-only cable) to connect the phone to the XProxy server. When prompted on the phone, tap Always allow to authorize USB debugging.

XProxy automatically installs the XProxy app on your phone. Your proxy is then available in HTTP and SOCKS5 format. XProxy controls the phone to rotate IPs by toggling Airplane mode.

Always use a data cable — not a charging-only cable. The easiest way to tell the difference: use the cable that came in the phone's original packaging.

For faster IP rotation, a rooted Android phone can change IPs more quickly than an unrooted one. Rooting is optional — XProxy works with both.
