From a fresh server to working proxies
Four steps from a clean Linux box to working mobile proxies.
Install XProxy on Linux
Run the one-line installer on Ubuntu. The installation guide lists the hardware requirements.
Plug in modems or phones
Put a SIM in each USB modem and connect it through a powered USB hub, or connect Android phones over USB or LAN/WiFi. Devices show up in the dashboard on their own, usually within 30 seconds.
Get a proxy port per device
Every modem gets its own HTTP and SOCKS5 port. Rotate the IP instantly, on a timer or through an API link, and expose ports publicly or through VPS forwarding.
Scale up or start selling
Add modems whenever you like. The Business plan adds shared ports, proxy groups and a selling platform if you resell proxies.
What the software does
Everything below is in the product today; the plan table shows which tier unlocks what.
IP rotation your way
Rotate instantly, on a timer or through a per-port API link. XProxy guarantees the new IP differs from the previous one.
HTTP, SOCKS5, VPN and VLESS
HTTP and SOCKS5 (with UDP/QUIC) on every port, OpenVPN and WireGuard per modem, and VLESS on the Business plan.
Android phones as modems
Use phones on Android 8.1 or newer with the XProxy NextGen app over USB, LAN/WiFi or USB tethering. No root required.

XProxy runs on any 64-bit Linux box and supports many USB dongles on the market. Keep what you own and add the software.
Installation guide →Frequently asked questions
What does XProxy mobile proxy software run on?
Any 64-bit Linux device with at least 2 GB of RAM. Ubuntu Desktop 22.04 is the recommended setup, and pre-built XProxy servers ship with the software already installed.
Is the software really free for 5 modems?
Yes. Every installation starts on a free plan: up to 5 modems with automatic HTTP and SOCKS5 proxies and community support. IP rotation, VPN per modem and the other advanced features need a paid plan.
Which modems and phones work with it?
USB 4G/LTE dongles such as the XProxy XH22, the Huawei E3372 and other HiLink dongles, plus Android phones running Android 8.1 or newer (no root needed). If a dongle is not recognized, support helps with the drivers for free. See the USB modem guide and the Android phone guide.
Can I switch from Proxidize or iProxy and keep my hardware?
Yes. XProxy runs on Linux machines and works with other vendors' hardware setups, so you can keep your server, hubs and modems and change only the software. Message us on Telegram for free migration help, or read the Proxidize migration guide.
How do I pay for a license?
Software licenses are paid from your account balance, which you top up with cryptocurrency. Pick the modem count on the pricing page and the price is shown before you pay.
