Head-to-head comparison

Looking for a Coronium alternative?

Coronium rents dedicated 4G/5G mobile proxy lines and, through Coronium Node, pays modem owners a share of each rental. XProxy is the software you use to run your own modems instead, with the option to resell what they produce.

Coronium facts come from coronium.io and coronium.io/node, checked on October 31, 2026. Verify current terms with the provider.

Renting, hosting or owning

Renting

A rented line from a provider like Coronium is the fastest start: no modems, no SIMs and no server. You pay every month and the provider controls the hardware.

Hosting with a node program

With Coronium Node you plug USB modems into an Ubuntu box and earn 58% of each rental, but only on modems that pass Coronium's checks and under its terms.

Owning with XProxy

Run your own modems and phones, rotate IPs your way and sell to your own customers. You carry the hardware and SIM costs and keep the control.

Questions before you choose

Is Coronium a software alternative to XProxy?

Not exactly. Coronium sells dedicated mobile proxy lines and runs a Node program for modem owners. XProxy is software for building and operating your own farm. The two meet when you choose between renting proxies and owning the modems.

What do I keep when I sell proxies from my own XProxy farm?

XProxy takes no share of what you charge your customers; you pay the software license, your SIM data plans and your hardware. The Business plan adds shared ports, proxy groups and a selling platform with payouts.

Can I use the same modems for XProxy and Coronium Node?

Use separate hardware. Coronium asks node owners to leave devices that already serve customers elsewhere on their current software, and the same logic applies the other way round.

Which should I pick?

Rent from a provider such as Coronium if you need a few lines quickly and no hardware to manage. Build with XProxy if you want your own IPs, rotation control and the option to resell. Start with the free plan for up to 5 modems to see how it feels.

Try running your own modems

Install XProxy for free on up to 5 modems and see what a farm of your own would involve.
