How XProxy differs

A bigger free start

Run up to 5 modems on the free plan to test the software on your own hardware, instead of a single-modem demo.

Where ProxySmart may fit better

If you run Quectel or Sierra Wireless modules, or rent one server to several proxy shops, check ProxySmart's compatibility list and multishop license before switching.

Questions about switching from ProxySmart

Can XProxy run on the hardware I use for ProxySmart?

Usually yes. ProxySmart and XProxy both run on a Linux host with a powered USB hub and modems. XProxy supports many USB dongles, and Ubuntu 22.04 is the recommended OS. Send us your modem models on Telegram and we check them before you move.

How does the price compare?

ProxySmart prices a license per modem for 6, 12, 24 or 36 months with a calculator on its site. XProxy publishes its list: Basic costs $1.97 per modem per month at 10 modems billed every 3 months, or $1.18 billed yearly, and up to 5 modems are free. Run both calculators with your modem count.

Does XProxy have something like the multishop license?

XProxy's Business plan adds shared ports per modem, proxy groups with custom authentication and a selling platform with payouts. If you need to rent one server to several independent proxy shops, ask us on Telegram before you switch.

Does migration cost anything?

Migration help from our support team is free. Proxy addresses change when you move, so update them in your tools afterwards.
